Stories and anecdotes that describe me

Hello Jörn,

I can tell you from my youth/school that Mónica was the best at school, always - she had the best Abitur.

I can also tell an anecdote. In Colombia there is also a central Abitur exam. Examination del ICFES. There is a part to choose from. The options were abstract thinking and geometric thinking. In our school we were always prepared for the abstract thinking tests. Monica was the only one who chose to take the geometric reasoning test. All the rest of us didn`t do very well at abstract thinking. After we got the results, I asked Monica why she chose the other test. She told me that she had taken some tests and that it was actually easier in geometric reasoning and that`s why she did so well in geometric reasoning.

She was the only one in our class who did that, everyone else just did what we always did. That`s how Monica was, she didn´t conform to what everyone else was doing and was always looking for the best way without conforming to what others were doing.

Best regards

Helena

Here is some more information about me:

How did we address each other?

For me, Jörn was always Chiqui, only when things got serious: Jörn

Chiqui called me Moni, Mäuschen or Meine Kleene ( in Berlin dialect "my little").

In the beginning we spoke in English, later more and more  German, sometimes a mix of German, English and a little bit of Spanish.

Davor gab es den 3er BMW, ganz für mich!

And this is my famous hutch.

the little Smart I used to love driving.

By the way, Hutch comes from Michael Hutchence, the singer of INXS.

Look at the license plate: B for Berlin MG for Monica Große and 18.

(August 18, 1968, my birthday)

That was the first indicator, please see below!

And now I'll show you something very special...

Look, at first glance these are our two cars.

But please take a closer look at the signs:

                          B MJ 6863

                          B JM 6368

          Berlin Moni + Jörn + 1968 and 1963

          Berlin Jörn + Moni + 1963 and 1968

And as intertwined as those marks are, so has our life with Chiqui.
